Sound Design | for Film Makers

Talking to someone from the sound department will help identify specific requirements unique to your film. Many problems can be isolated and addressed in pre-production which is always more economic than a 'fix it in post' attitude. Often what prevents a film from being broadcasted, distributed or selected for a festival is poor sound.

Kahra has worked on films from shorts to features covering everything from re-recording, dialog editing, foley, sound design, music supervision and mixing.

"I thought her soundtrack music was a perfect match for the dark, monochrome, single-frame nightmarish images that made Red Shed one of my big faves of the fest. It creaked and groaned at exactly the right places, without becoming the sort of "Mickey Mouse" music that dots every dramatic I and crosses every visual T. That it was part of something created in less than 48 hours made it just that much more impressive"
Chris Knox, 48HR FILM Judge 2005
